The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. Gate 2021 exam is conducted by IIT Bombay. The Gate syllabus 2021 mainly consists of four categories viz., Verbal ability, numerical ability, Engineering mathematics(not for all) and technical ability. In detail, all the categories are as below
Verbal Ability: English grammar, sentence completion, verbal analogies, word groups, instructions, critical reasoning, and verbal deduction.
Numerical Ability: Numerical computation, numerical estimation, numerical reasoning and data interpretation.
Engineering Mathematics (not for all Papers)
Technical Ability: Technical questions related to the Paper chosen.
GATE 2021 will be conducted in 27 subjects which comprise of Aerospace, Agricultural, Architecture, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Civil, Chemical, Computer Science, Chemistry, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Environmental Science and Engineering, Ecology & Evolution, Geology & Geophysics, Instrumentation, Mathematics, Mechanical, Mining, Metallurgical, Petroleum, Physics, Production & Industrial, Statistics, Textile & Fibre, Engineering Sciences, Life Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences.
